Climate Change
Climate Change
Climate change will have major impacts on watersheds and fishery resources over the next 50-100 years.
Berkley Conservation Institute is addressing climate change and its affects on our natural resources by:
- Encouraging US and global efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions
- Assisting planning bodies in incorporating the expectation of climate change in natural resource management decisions
- Helping sportsmen understand the potential impacts of climate change to fish and wildlife
- Pushing for strategic investment and long term management strategies by America’s fish and wildlife management agencies
Berkley Conservation Institute continues to work with the media to communicate strategies that aid in protecting and restoring wildlife in the age of global warming.
