Smores aren't the only tasty thing you can cook over a fire. In this episode of Fired Up Food, Nate Uri shows us how to make garlic bread over hot, campfire coals for a delicious, smokey flavor. Just remember--don't burn the garlic!

Garlic Bread

Serves 4

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Baguette or French Bread
  • 1 Clove of Garlic
  • 4 Tbs Butter

METHOD

Slice Baguette lengthwise. In a pan melt 4 Tbs of Butter. Mince garlic clove and add to butter let simmer for 2-4 minutes be sure not to let the garlic burn. Take garlic butter and spread over Baggett evenly, use spatula to spread out.

Over a low fire toast Baguette on fire grate for 2-4 minutes.

Wrap Baggett in aluminum foil and keep warm until ready to serve.
