Ive been using abu garcia baitcasters for years. I decided to dip my toes in the water so to speak with bfs casting, getting this reel in a lefty.
Im impressed with this reel, it has a learning curve. Being ultralight and all.
But within a couple hours getting used to it and dialing in the settings for the light gear i was throwing out. I hooked and caught a bluegill off a 1/16. Never have I seen a baitcaster be able to send a 1/16 like that.
Its retireve is smooth, handles light gear well with accuracy.
I recommend this reel to anyone interested in trying bfs casting.
(After getting a pic I got the treble hook from the Lil fella and he was returned, I watched him swim away 😁)
