    Great versatile rod

    I fish a lot of Chesapeake bay tributaries for bass, stripers, and snakeheads and I like this rod because it has a nice soft tip for casting that lets the fish really get a bait, but it has a stout enough backbone (with braid to copolymer leader) for a lot of the moving baits I throw like chatterbaits and swim jigs. This is a great chatterbait rod for skipping around cypress tumps and sparse spatterdock if you’re like myself and do not want a super duper moderate action rod. I think you could flip with it too if you wanted, something like a 3/16 oz weight with a senko would work well. I got this when they were on sale for $99 and that would be a pretty hard to beat in my opinion.

    Bobby Lane Wobble Head Rod

    I have found my Biffle Head, Swing Head, Wobble Head Rod and It is the Bobby Lane Swim Jig Rod. This is actually like a G.Loomis MBR fishing rod multipurpose rod I call my Yellow Jackets because they sting in so many techniques for bass fishing. Highly recommend

    Impressed with the backbone of this rod

    Bought this rod to back up several other 7’3” MH I use. Great for heavy cover spinner bait and chatter bait fishing. But I just happened to be on Sam Rayburn last month and was fishing frogs over heavy matted hydrilla, man was I impressed with the power of this rod to bring in fish and wads of vegetation.
