I ordered this online. First time I’ve bought a fishing pole online. I have plenty of Abu rods and never had any issues. The box was damaged when it arrived. I’m not sure if this pole should be returned. Did this puncture damage the strength of the rod. I have not even used it yet.

I purchased one of these for myself this past year and loved it. Went fishing with my dad who has a lot of other Abu Garcia reels. He really liked mine. So for Christmas that’s what I got him. He loved it so much he disappeared after opening it to go out string on it!

Buyer Beware
I ordered this combo for my son as a birthday gift and it arrived broken into three pieces. I've called, emailed, and used the website contact us form all multiple times - all without response for 9 days now.
I posted a similar message on their Facebook page where they at least responded with this, 'We're working hard to respond to every customer service request as quickly as possible. With peak summer fishing season in full swing, we've seen a significant increase in inquiries. Please know that we truly value your support, and a member of our team will be in touch with you shortly...."
9 days with no support is unacceptable. At this point, I don't have faith the problem will even be addressed, let alone resolved, in time.

I was very excited for my new rod and reel to be delivered today (actually a day later than it was supposed to be). But that all changed when I saw my package. As you can see my box was delivered all smashed up and I was hopeful it would be fine, but clearly it’s not. The retrieve is severely bent and unusable. Couldn’t be more annoyed.
