    Packaged and shipped as if it was a box of air, broken upon arrival

    I was really looking forward to my first nice bait caster. The box arrived pretty beat up and almost opened on one end. Opened the box for there to be one single strip of packing bubbles that were pretty much all popped and even if they weren’t popped would’ve allowed the rod to bounce around in the box. Pull the rod that was loosely sitting in the box out and it’s in 2 pieces. Super disappointing to say the least. Emailed support and they got back to me almost 48 hours later informing me they can’t replace or refund items broken in transit. There would be nothing for them to replace or refund if they took the care to package it like a $260 rod and reel rather than a box of air. Shows exactly how little the company cares about the people spending their hard earned money on their products.

    Eyes breaking

    My eyes on my rod broke for no reason even though I always kept it in a cover. Customer support was unhelpful and wouldn't deal with the product defect and I'm now in the process of replacing all the eyes.

    Good reel. Decent rod

    The reel has been working great for me and the rod is decent. . The rod power and action makes for a good all round rod as it enough bend despite being a fast action rod unlike some that are overly stiff. An extra guide would have been nice but not a big deal. If you find a good sale like I did then it's a bargain.
