I have bought 1 Battle III Travel Spinning Rod & Reel Combo for myself and 3 Battle IV Travel Spinning Rod & Reel Combos for a few friends. Both The III & The IV have the 4000 Series Reels. These are tough, go anywhere, Travel Rods on both Land & Sea, as well as The Great Lakes "Freshwater Ocean" here in Northern Mi. I have caught Steelhead Salmon, Northern Pike, Freshwater Drum( Sheep Head ), and even Gobi ( I know that is a shocker.)
Buy one for yourself and a few for your friends, like I did.

Outstanding.
Wanted travel rods for Florida keys. Battle IV rods are very compact.
Rods and reels have performed flawlessly during a week of hard fishing including tons of casting, drifting, snags, fish, and salt.
If they keep performing like this (and I see no reason they won’t), I’ll give them my very highest recommendation.
