    Disappointed

    First, the rod was not sent at all. Took customer support weeks to get back about sending it. Then, when received this rod broke the first time I put it in my rod case. I had noticed a slight nick after the first guide, and my guess would be it broke there, as it took very little force to break. So, I believe that they have poor quality control.

    Great bait caster for beginners

    I bought 3 of these recently for my kids and they have been outstanding bait casters for beginners. Once you get the brakes set, they are virtually bird's nest free. Easy to get set up, great durability so far and really easy to use. I am happy with this purchase and have really enjoyed the Abu Garcia products so far.

    Disappointed

    Bought this combo in January 2025 even bought a left handed reel to go with it cause combo doesn’t offer it. was pumped cause the performance out of this rod reel is amazing and since I lost the 1st one I got last year I kept track till this combo was available again from back order. Fast forward to only 4 months of actually using it for the fishing season and the reel bracket breaks and no one contacts you back about your complaint. Doesn’t make me confident on buying another product from you guys
