it is nice and sensitive but the way that the bait keeper is placed the line gets caught up in it on some casts and completely ruins that cast

Thank you so much for reaching out and sharing your experience—we’re sorry to hear that the bait keeper placement has been interfering with your casts.
One simple solution that many anglers find helpful is to place a small piece of electrical tape over the hook keeper when it’s not in use. This helps prevent the line from catching during your cast without affecting the performance of your rod.

I absolutely love this combo! It’s light weight, the cast is so smooth and I have already caught so many fish off of it! I also love the all white color it goes with any outfit I wear fishing lol.. thank you Abu Garcia for making this combo!! Funny story I caught a fish yesterday and accidentally dropped it in the lake but no worries I dove after it in 10ft of water and saved it lol. I’ll post the picture below.
