Warfare combos feature both a one-piece tubular glass blank with solid tip or tubular glass blank depending on model, stainless steel guides with aluminum oxide inserts, heavy-duty graphite reel seat, and a triangle EVA foregrip for added comfort and control. The reels include a lightweight design offering heavy-duty fish fighting power and high line capacity, providing exceptional fish-stopping power.

I bought this combo as a back up gator pole for the 2024 gator season here in Florida and put 300 yards of 150lb braided line on it. I broke one of my poles on Friday night that had a 6.0 reel on it so Saturday night the Penn was put into use. I got a gator to take my bait, as I started to reel him in all was well until I went to pull him up, then the fight was on. We fought him for approximately 15 minutes around the boat, then I was able to put a dart in him. Once he was harvested he measured in at 10'7". The rod and reel combo held up very well with no issues.

Awesome combo. Pulled up 4 Dorados (mahi mahi) and 1 yellowtail on day 1, and then 1 Dorado on day 2 before I was sidelined with nausea from the Choppy water. Highly recommended.

Really nice combo, caught many fishes on my first go and it handled them nicely. Even brought up a 3ft wide stingray with ease
