Damaged Rod
Rod arriving damaged with shipping box significantly bent over. There is one piece of graphite chipped off the top of the rod. There is no choice for asking a replacement in the return section. And they need to review the return request before approving the return request which is fraustrating. The rod itself is beautiful though and I would still recommend the rod but the shipping and return process needs improvement.

Great versatile rod
I fish a lot of Chesapeake bay tributaries for bass, stripers, and snakeheads and I like this rod because it has a nice soft tip for casting that lets the fish really get a bait, but it has a stout enough backbone (with braid to copolymer leader) for a lot of the moving baits I throw like chatterbaits and swim jigs. This is a great chatterbait rod for skipping around cypress tumps and sparse spatterdock if you’re like myself and do not want a super duper moderate action rod. I think you could flip with it too if you wanted, something like a 3/16 oz weight with a senko would work well. I got this when they were on sale for $99 and that would be a pretty hard to beat in my opinion.
