From the panhandle to the marquesas I have caught reddish, trout, snook, permit, bonefish, and small tarpon with the 7'6" medium action. It has more of a full flex feel but with backbone. I'm not a fan of rods that only flex at the tip. I love the guides. No inserts to break.

This Rod has been the best, I paired it with a Penn Battle 4000 and im just speechless. The ugly stik inshore rods are like no other, ill use them til the end of time. Thanks Ugly Stik, keep up the great work
