I will never buy an Abu Garcia product again. I purchased a fishing rod online and it came broken in the box. The box had no padding and the reel was broke from the rod. When I called, no one answered after 10 different calls over a few days then I sent an email and a week later got a response saying they couldn’t do anything for me & it wasn’t their fault it got broke in the shipping process.

Order came in right before local tournament, put line on tied lure on and first cast 4 lb bass worked great .. Would like for the rod to be medium/ heavy

Received the pole in the mail and it was broken. I mad an initial warranty claim on August 1st. As of August 11, I’ve sent two emails, call numerous times and left two messages and have not heard from anyone with the company as how to resolve the problem. Their product may be ok, but their customer service is horrible.
