I have had mine for 2 years now my other half steals it when he goes fishing and leaves his fenwick at home because it mine is more sensitive lined it with 10lb braided power pro line and have cought everything the wolf river has to offer from drifting anf digging for walleye when the river his high to brook trout in small creeks I turned an 8 ft sturgeon around and got her to the doc to unhook her and a 9 lb flat head in current this rod and reel have out preformed any amd everything I have put it up against hands down the best 100 bucks I ever spent on fishing gear i didnt by mine off the web sight I bout it from fleet farm 2 years ago.

Using 4 lb test. Snapped in between 3-4 eye. 1st time using. Reel is great though.

I purchased the PRESSP-5625 specifically for fishing the trout streams in North Georgia. Trout in Georgia typically range around 10" - 12". The streams are sometimes narrow and not always easy to fish from the banks.
This combo is a perfect setup for trout at a great price point. The reel is solid and exceptionally smooth, and the rod is sensitive enough to feel the slightest bite. I actually caught a rainbow trout on my second cast!

Bought the combo, only used a few times and broke. Now I cannot find just a replacement rod.

I have a few pflueger combos and just picked up another for crappie. I’ve caught everything from crappie to steal head with no issues till I got the light combo, 1st time out and it snapped on a 3lb white bass. I contacted customer service and they were extremely nice, helpful and eager to make it right with me. I’ve always loved this company and this was my first issue I have had with them and they did a excellent job sending me not only a Rod but the full combo replacement.
