Very durable and fish find it interesting!
I caught my personal best largemouth with this the first time using it after only a couple of casts. The lure seems very durable, and all kinds of fish gravitate towards it. I rigged it with a weighted 1/0 EWG hook and it's never coming off! Great job Berkley! (Now if you could please make a leak-proof jar for your 1" Gulp Minnows, that would be awesome! Thanks!)

This bait is ridiculous
They absolutely freight-trained the Moeba on the take. Not once did I wonder if I had a bite. When they hit this thing, they absolutely eat it.
And that’s probably the craziest part — only big fish seemed to want it. I caught 14 fish over 3 lbs on it, and every one of them absolutely choked it. These weren’t little taps or fish just nipping at the tentacles. They committed.
Rigging is definitely important if you want to keep the bait together. I used the largest screw lock I could fit, ran it all the way through the bait and buried the eyelet, then bent the center pin. Run the treble through the eye of that pin and catch a little bit of the bait on both sides with the hook points. Then put a small piece of electrical shrink tubing over the hook to keep everything pinned.
14 fish over 3 lbs and I lost ONE tentacle. That’s incredible durability for a soft bait getting absolutely mauled by fish that size.
The only thing I’m changing next trip is my hook. I was running a heavy 4X treble, and it was just too much hook. I had some penetration issues and lost fish I probably shouldn’t have. I’m going to a 2/0 BKK light-wire treble next trip, and I think that’s going to be the ticket.
If you’re looking for something that gets absolutely freight-trained and seems to specifically call up better fish, the Moeba is legit. This thing isn’t getting buried in the tackle box. It’s staying tied on.

Underestimated this product but never will again
Fish this bait for the first time in a tournament last weekend and let me tell you on a calm clear water fishery when not a ton of things get the big bites this one sure does, the bass absolutely commit to this bait and landed big fish of the tournament on it ! Will continue to use 💯
