As a professional fishing guide I fish almost exclusively with the gulp minnows 1 inch or the 2 1/2 inch for crappies and panfish. Flat out produces live bait almost all the time. The bait might be small but they are mighty not only do you catch panfish but we've caught some very large fish on them as well. Anyone going out after panfish should definitely have a jar or two of gulp minnows with them. My boat won't leave the dock without gulp minnows on board.
