I picked up some of these at my local box store. I haven't used them before. I was also trying to get used to a new baitcaster. After a little bit I was going to flip it under a tree limb from the shore of a pond, and I saw a little silver splash.
I flipped it over and before the bait even seemed to be underwater it was like a piranha attack from this bass! I'm not exaggerating at all it was crazy. Now it wasn't first cast first bite.
This was after fishing the bank for about half an hour messing around.
The picture below is what happened when that bait hit the water above him.
Not a fish story guys, this was insane! Never did get the bass.

Looks realistic however no bass has had any interest yet. Hopefully it’s not another bait that catches fishermen and not fish… I’m not giving up yet
