I love these rods. By far my favorite fishing rods.
They are durable and flexible. Able to haul in the big fish and sensitive enough to feel the smallest nibbles.
It's balanced very nice with the back bone in the correct spot. When other rods break my ugly stick e glass catfish rods out perform all others in my collection. I like that it has some weight to it for catfishing. Maybe not the best choice for casting for bass all day. These are by far my favorite fishing rods.

I use this rod for bass and pike for the last 2 years and it works perfectly! Never had a problem with it at all. Yes it has great feel for when the fish are biting. I’ve had a panfish nibble on my frog I was using and felt it so yes you can definitely feel the bite. I want to try carbon fiber Rods but I don’t know how they would be compared to this. I hate losing fish because of bad equipment so I have stuck with this and I feel safe fighting big pike out of the weeds. Just my opinion.

I own 4 of these and had them for 16 years. Fished for catfish on the Mississippi River 4 or 5 months out of the year and they still are in great shape. But glad to see they switched to the stainless eyes. I have another one one order.
