Frabill Galvanized Torpedo Minnow Trap

I have bought and used the galvanized Torpedo Minnow Trap in the past with good success. However where I fish is in the intercoastal waters of the Florida panhandle which is brackish water. I tend to leave my trap in the water overnight and into the next day and it doesn’t take long for the salt water to eat the trap up making it useless. I was given a Deluxe Minnow Trap as a gift from a fellow fisherman and have used it for six months without any problems. I put a couple of inexpensive hot dogs as bait and overnight end up with 25 to 30 pin fish up to 3” long. I will never go back to galvanized unless I move to an area with fresh water. The long and short of it is the traps works whether they are galvanized or vinyl coated.
