The Max SX Casting Reels expand the trusted legacy of the Max LP family with a design that offers a new a-sym frame design along and upgraded drag systems. An aluminum 90mm bent handle is furnished with co-molded soft touch knobs to provide a comfortable grip and buttery smooth retrieve.

The only improvement to the Max SX lineup would be a metal frame versus the already capable composite. Personally, I'd like to see expansion to 150, and 200 size models, and an upgrade to 20lbs. of drag resistance. Still a solid investment for an entry level as titled above investment at the price point. A++.(9
