I've been an Abu Garcia fan ever since I purchased a Revo X spinning reel a couple years ago. I live in Minnesota and fish as much as I can during spring/summer/fall. Everything from largemouth/smallmouth bass, walleye, northern pike, crappie, perch and bluegill. When I had the opportunity to purchase the Zenon LTX on sale for Cyber Monday, I couldn't pass up the deal. The quality is absolutely astonishing, and the weight is almost laughable. It's so light! But being magnesium and carbon fiber, I know that this isn't some flimsy reel. It's the sturdiest and smoothest reel I've ever owned by a huge margin.
As of right now the reel is still on sale so if you've been on the fence about getting one don't pass this opportunity up!!

I bought the 3000 Zenon LTX spinning reel back in October 2024 and I LOVE this reel! It is extremely lightweight(especially paired on a St Croix Avid Series rod), easy to cast long distances, exceptionally smooth, and also comes with spare spool, extra parts and a carrying bag for the reel. I highly recommend this reel to anybody!

Can't remember the last time I had to leave a bad review, BUT DANG! I absolutely love the LTX 2500, but wanted to get more distance with the same rod (Dobyns Xtasy 610-1) throwing 3/16 oz, 3 to 3 1/2 inch minnows. I've had more wind knots with this thing since I've had it (a couple of months) than I've had in the past 20 years. It's crazy! I've tried 3 different size/brands of braid to an 8 lb flouro leader. Same setup as the 2500. I honestly don't understand how one spinning reel can be any better than another regarding wind knots, but I guess if manufacturers have stated "you get less wind knots", then I guess it can happen?? I finally just threw the thing in a pile.
