I bought 10 foot Med and Med H to take around the local beaches for my daily drivers. Medium side bay use, not heavy surf abuse. Use with 5500 reels they work very well. Cast the usual suspects SP, mags, talkers, bucks, no problem nice accuracy, good with 40lb braid etc. The MH can take some wind, M not bad still useable up to decent gusts. Good hardware and finish. Five Stars ⭐️

I currently own 4 Battalions, 2 are 10’ surf rods, 1 is an 8’ jetty rod, a 7’ inshore and this 9’ rod. They're super lightweight but with a strong back bone! Have pulled from spotted trouts to bull reds with these rods! Extremely durable will keep getting more!

Really enjoying this rod - I use it for crabbing and for fishing, and it's great. I paired one with an old school 950ssm and one with a Slammer... both working GREAT!

I bought this in the spring. I swear it's a wand. Whenever I use the dang thing, I catch halibut. I out fish just about everyone because of the perfect balance with backbone and sensitivity so the halibut don't bite and run off. I loved it so much I stepped up to Penn's Carnage, but this one is much better for my type of surf fishing. Worth every penny.
