I’ve got 6-8 of these pack with items that I don’t want to keep but can’t get rid of. So I shoved them in the closet / under the bed. Well, an unfortunate water leak made me have to gut the bathroom to the studs, including the wall against my bedroom. I moved what I could inside, but two ended up outside.
In the last 4 weeks outside, they’ve been rained on, iced on, and I’ve used them as saw horses for wood, drywall and purple board. They have remained air and water tight, I will be buying more in time.

This is the perfect storage solution for our 2025 Winnebago EKKO. These fit perfectly in the storage garage area and permit separation of different items. I purchased 4 units one for tools and maintenance one for cooking essentials one for chemicals and cleaning products and one for other extra gear. They stack well and stay put even when traveling off road. They are sturdy enough to stand on (I'm 185lbs) and we even use one for a coffee table while camping.

As an Alaskan Fishing Guide I’ve used these boxes extensively. Better than Rubbermaid Action packer. Exponentially cheaper than yeti Loadout. Not as tough as a Hardigg locker, but easier to purchase and in smaller more convenient sizes.
Pros- lightweight, your gear will weight more than the box. Good size, medium fits 3 days worth of flyfishing kit and food. Note picture, fishing tackle for a family of 6 for a myriad of species.
Cons- NOT Durable, do not sit or stand on this box. Do not stack them in the temps below 32 degs.
No indentions or slots for straps to secure them to a frame or boat bottom.. Lids fail, crack or latches come off at random see picture below.
There really isn’t a great alternative to these trunks, as such I have continued to use them.
