To properly secure your rifle, the Plano ProMax single scoped contoured rifle case has pillar lock technology. This case can contain one rifle with a big objective scope, which is protected by two layers of interlocking foam. The ProMax case has padlock compatibility with locking tabs around the outside shell for enhanced security.     Low cost protection is a good value, lightweight case has limited durability

    Let me begin I value the case I purchased and for the cost it serves its purpose, however if your wanting a rugged rifle carrier for luggage etc... this may not be a good fit. The latch closures are not robust enough to make it through airline luggage handling that is for sure, and care must be taken when handling this in and out of the truck. I am speculating a good bump against a solid structure could potentially cause the thin plastic case to crack. Otherwise, the case is lightweight and then the addition of 2 rifles makes it a good choice weight wise. For this case to enable me to move 2 rifles in the same case makes all the difference to me. I am happy with my purchase and the case is a good protector of my rifles, scopes, etc..., foam is thick, pin type channels keeps the case covers in position.
