I bought this combo to fish on vacation in NC. It was wonderful and helped me catch over 50 fish! Perfect stiffness on the rod. The only thing I didn't like is that the reel is loud. Makes a lot of clicking noises with mono.. it may not be so loud with braid. Overall though.. very happy with the product and the value!
