Our commitment at Fenwick is to you, the angler. This is why we have created the "Get Your Fenwick Fishing" program (the “Warranty Program”); to get you back on the water, faster.

Fenwick’s Warranty Program covers defects in materials and workmanship. If you are certain that your broken rod is eligible under a designated warranty, please refer to the instructions outlined below to submit your claim.

Disclaimer: We do not offer repairs or parts for rods. If your rod failed due to a manufacturing defect and is under warranty, we will be happy to replace it with a new rod of the same or a comparable model, service fees may apply.

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY ROD IS COVERED BY WARRANTY?

Each rod series has a specific warranty program associated with it, please see below for details. Details can also be found on the original packaging. If you don't have the original packaging, cannot locate your rod series or have any other questions please email us at [email protected] or call our trained professional customer service group at (877) 336-7637.

Limited Lifetime Warranty Covers the Following Rod Series:

  • Fenwick World Class Rods
  • Fenwick Techna Rods
  • Fenwick Elite Rods (manufactured 2022 and later)
  • Fenwick Elite Tech Rods (manufactured prior to 2023)
  • Fenwick HMG Rods
  • Fenwick Eagle Rods (manufactured 2023 and later)

WARRANTY FAQs:

WHAT IS COVERED UNDER FENWICK’S WARRANTY?

Each Fenwick Warranty is valid for the original owner only (with proof of purchase from FenwickFishing.com or an authorized dealer) and covers defects in materials and workmanship for the designated timeframe, as outlined above. Basically, if your product should fail due to an issue with the materials or workmanship, and is still covered by the original warranty, we will replace it with a new rod of the same make and model; provided, however, in the event that your rod is no longer being manufactured and we no longer have any inventory of such rod, we will work with you to identify and provide a replacement rod whose purchase price on the date of any warranty claim is substantially equivalent to the original purchase price of the rod with the defect in materials or workmanship.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED UNDER FENWICK’S WARRANTY?

We design our rods to be as bulletproof as possible, but there are some things that we would not consider to be defects covered under our warranty. Issues that are typically not covered under the Fenwick Warranty include:

  • Guide Damage
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by misuse
  • Damage caused by impacts or accidents
  • Improper care (including storage)

FENWICK WARRANTY REGISTRATION

We highly recommend registering your product within 60 days of purchase from FenwickFishing.com or an authorized dealer. In order to register your Fenwick Rod, you must be the original owner, provide dated proof of purchase and enter contact information. You will then be provided with a Warranty PIN/ID number to use for future claims.

If you are certain that your rod is defective in terms of materials or workmanship and your rod is covered under one of the above warranties, you will need the following information to submit your claim.

  • Your Warranty ID (provided during product registration)
  • A photograph clearly showing the broken area(s) of the rod
  • A brief description of how your rod broke
  • Your address and a daytime contact number

If your rod is covered by any of the above warranties, we will need to review your claim to determine the nature of the defect. When we receive the above information, a trained Fenwick engineer will review the claim and will be in contact concerning next steps. Service fees apply.

WHAT IF I ACCIDENTALLY BROKE MY ROD OR IT IS OUT OF THE WARRANTY TIME PERIOD?

Everyone has broken a rod by accident; Fenwick isn't going to penalize you for it. We're going to give you options to purchase a replacement rod and get you back on the water.

If you broke your rod by accident, send us the same information listed above in the warranty claim section to [email protected] explaining what happened. We will take your information and be in touch regarding replacement options.
