- CCCaptain C.Verified Reviewer4 months agoRated 5 out of 5 starsFirst Time Baitcasting !
I bought this rod at the W store in Falmouth. I liked the feel and balance. I paired this with a Shimano DC reel, and like how it casts. Looking forward to a good fishing season!

Very nice looking and feeling rod . Deffinitly worth the price. All these years and I have yet to have one break on me hope I don’t jinks my self sure to buy another one.
- STSam T.YesterdayRated 3 out of 5 starsGreat Rod so far but...
Purchased two US Carbon Casting rods and have only used them 20 trips out or less. The rods seem to be great all around bass rods. Granted these are not for finesse, punching or slinging large swimbaits its a great rod for most bass needs. Here's the but...the wynn style grip on the the handle is already deteriorating from usage. For a 70+ rod the handle shouldn't be fraying apart in less than two years.
Pure Fishing®25 seconds agoThank you for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback. We're glad to hear that you enjoy the overall performance of the Carbon Casting rods and find them to be versatile bass rods.
We're sorry to hear that the Wynn-style grips are deteriorating after relatively limited use. We understand your concern, especially given the age of the rods and the expectations for their durability. We'd be happy to have our Consumer Service team review the issue and go over any warranty options that may be available.

Absolutely beautiful rod. Excellent cast and great action. I've got mine paired to a size 20 Zebco Bullet reel and I absolutely LOVE it! My ONLY gripe is I wish there were more lengths available.
