I have been using the Berkley Forward Braid, and when I tell you it's smooth it's very smooth. Long casting with no backlash. Better than any line I have used before. Make sure you give it a try, and I'll assure you will like it too.

Seams to be a replacement for nanofil which is no longer made. Was very pleased with the performance and castability caught several fish over 3 lbs held up well. Have since bought another spool for another reel

All my rods are spooled up with #8 forward line. From walleye fishing to panfishing this line is perfect. I can cast a small bait 80 feet with ease and still has the strength to fish larger baits for walleyes.
