These baits are trash. Too soft. Then when you get your package half of all the minnows are damaged and not straight. Waste of money!!

Incredible on Mini chatter bait
Buy the Z-man Flashback minnow. Then throw away the garbage plastics it comes with. Use these on that mini bladed jig head. It’s absolutely been my most productive lure for the last 2 years. Everything bites it!! I have caught multiple 5+ lb bass with it (yes on a mico bladed jighead and a 2.5” minnow). It catches crappie, whitebass, hell I even caught a 9lb catfish with it this past fall. Tip if you search temu you can get the exact same bladed jig head as the zman one for about 2.50 each which is cheaper and easier to find than the zman ones. Give it a try, I promise you will love the action and the incredible hookup rates!

Killer on dropshot Smallmouth
I have caught countless hundreds of big smallies on this bait. I like the 4” on dropshot and 3” on underspin crappie jigs.
Run this along the contour of a rocky bank or hit the points and flats, you can’t go wrong with it.

Better than live worms
Using live bait has always been a hassle for me and I wanted a better alternative. Although Gulp Alive products are by design a little messy they’re still preferable to live bait. I like not having to refrigerate them so I can keep them almost anywhere. I have read many reports that the original Gulp Alive bottles are “notoriously leaky” so I bought several air tight glass Nalgene jars to store in my fishing backpack. I’ve heard so many reports about leaky Gulp Alive jars that I’m surprised Berkley hasn’t addressed this issue.
