Do not recommend is a POS . After buying the penn line winder to spool up the new reels for my boat I cannot get any more than 6lbs of drag(They say it can apply up to 10 lbs) pressure without the spool spinning and the cones not moving the drag washes don’t work not very impressed with the quality as I now have to go and buy a different line winder to make sure my reels are spooled properly. would work fine with a Small spinning reel but not usable on any conventional real(Customer support said it would work great with conventionals) I have tried with multiple different schools of line from different brands and the same issue with each.

Better than the alternatives and still pretty decent. Out of the box has a few issues. Can't tighten the screws holding the vertical arms very tight or they won't move. Smaller spools just rotate on the drag cone. You can fix the drag cone issue buy using any soft grippy material to cut a washer to insert between the spool and the drag cone. I used some non-slip kitchen drawer mat. Problem solved. The vertical bolts. I'm goin to see what I can source for washer or just use some blue loctite on them. Pleased with the purchase as everything else in this price range isn't as good as this.
