The next generation of Veritas® rods feature Powerlux™ 100, which increases the rod’s strength by 15 percent while also reducing the rod’s overall weight by 5 percent. The Veritas® rod family gives anglers the performance, sensitivity, and durability they need to win, whether they’re fishing for fun or for a paycheck. The Powerlux™ 100 resin system evenly distributes nano particles between each carbon fiber to enhance the rod’s performance and strength by preventing cracks in the blank material. The Powerlux™ technology helps produce rods with higher break strengths and improved impact and fracture resistance. The Abu Garcia® custom designed reel seat delivers hypersensitivity around the exposed blank sections and improves comfort for all-day fishing. Coupled with stainless steel guides with zirconium inserts and EVA split grips, the Abu Garcia® Veritas® pushes the limits of high-performance fishing rods.

Super light, cast light lures really far and well with control. I got the medium lite in 6’9. Pretty versatile size for lakes and Rivers. I paired this with the max Sx2500 reel. So coool!

The rod looks good but not what I ordered.. All the times have ordered from them they have been kinda fast at responding to emails but it’s been 5 days already .. a few emails and a bunch of phone calls and I haven’t got anything response back yet.. keep going at this rate its going to be past the 30 days before they even get back to me..maybe they will respond to this ..

I bought this Veritas combo 6 months ago, went to set the hook on a fish and it snapped in 2 pieces. Dont waste your money, also customer service does not exist for Abu Garcia, 5 eamails and 5 phone calls and ive yet to get a person or a response!
