The Hardy Averon Cassette Reel builds on the legacy of previous Hardy cassette reels with a completely redesigned frame, while retaining the trusted CLS locking system and compatibility with existing spools. The new frame enhances durability and utilises a practical open-cage design for the 4000–7000 sizes and an enclosed cage for the 9000 size. A robust disc drag system delivers ultra-smooth stopping power, scaled to the reel size, and features a regulator knob that provides precise adjustments with positive detents.##Designed with full compatibility in mind, the Averon Cassette features spools that are interchangeable with the previous generation (Ultradisc Cassette / UDC). This ensures seamless versatility, allowing anglers to use UDC spools with the Averon Cassette and vice versa, making it the ideal choice for anglers carrying multiple lines.
