The Shakespeare® Excursion series provides the ideal assortment of rods, reels and combos for general purpose and bass freshwater anglers. Excursion Baitcast Combos contains a 2+1 bearing system and pinion gears for a smooth feel and enhanced performance. The ported aluminum spool reduces weight while the 90mm aluminum handle with molded oversized knobs provides excellent torque. For the rod, carbon composite blank construction and stainless steel guides with titanium oxide inserts, providing the ideal mix of performance and value! Premium cork handles have been added to this series for added comfort with a traditional look and feel.
