The Max X Spinning Reel leverages technology from the Zenon™ and Revo® line of spinning reels such as the asymmetric body design, allowing for a more compact reel. To further reduce size, the Max X features a hybrid V-Spool and hybrid V-Rotor design. Featuring a 4+1 bearing system and Rocket Line Management™, the Max X Spinning Reel offers unparalleled performance.

Receive this as a gift. Noticed when I was putting line on that there was a catch in the gearing internally. Went to pull it apart to see if it was just grease that was needed. One of these screws would not even come out to service the gears. Sent in the warranty information. They asked for a receipt, of course I don't have one because it's a gift. In addition to that, they want me to ship the reel back and that will cost about half as much as what this thing is worth $23.97 at Bass Pro for the Abu Garcia Max X Spinning Reel MAXXSP20. I don't know what's going on with the quality control at Abu, but I've had 3 Revo baitcasters have failures and now this spinning right out of the box. I didn't ask for any of these issues, but it seems like I continually have to pay for it.
