Beast Slayer
Set out on my annual Alaskan trip with one goal in mind, catch a new PB Halibut over 100 lbs. I got lucky and blew the doors off my goal. I hooked and landed this 74” 214 lbs barn door on the 6’6” Medium power Rampage Jig rod with a Fathom baitcast 400 series reel and 50 lbs Pro Spec Saltwater braid paired with my trusty Fusion 19 8oz bucktail jig/8” Gulp saltwater grub combo.
