French fries are always a fan favorite (especially for the kids). In this episode of Fired Up Food, Nate Uri shows how easy it is to make old-school home fries, whether you're camping or at home!

Home Fries

Serves 4


  • 6-8 Yukon Gold Potatoes
  • 2/3 Cup Olive oil
  • 1 tsp. Sea salt


In a fry pan (Preferably cast iron) heat olive oil to 375F. Slice potatoes in to cubs and carefully place in heated olive oil. Fry potatoes for 5-7 minuets or till potatoes are golden brown. With a slotted spoon remove fries from oil and place on a plate covered with a paper towel to absorb the extra oil. Sprinkle sea salt over fries and serve warm.
